Client Spotlight

Hey there, I hope you are enjoying your day and crushing your workouts. Yesterday while I was putting my client through a calorie torching workout I was thinking, "I have the best job in the world" When I'm in the gym training clients I'm in awe of how much effort goes into their workouts.  I know how much is sacrificed to show up and be the strongest version of yourself. Think less sleep (sometimes not sleeping the night before but still showing up ) - Organizing child care - Investing money= Invest in your health it will reward you - Longer days In every area that takes time, effort and inner  strength.  But you do it anyway cause you are a bad ass and being your best is important to you.

Hey there, It's Monday which is an accountability check in with myself. I like to go back in my journal and accomplish the tasks that I didn't get to finish the previous week and complete them. Something I have been meaning to do was complete a blog post I started in January. I started it and planned on completing quickly but for some reason #momlife, it got put off. Since I started sharing my health and fitness journey it has been important for me to stay 100% transparent with all I do. I can appreciate when the people I look up to for inspiration share their struggles open and honestly. Because I'm consistent, I will follow through with that blog post I have been meaning to finish but for now I have something else weighing on me that I feel the need to share.  In the moment and from the heart .  Now that we have survived the holidays it's time to get back to business.  The holidays are fun but let's face it we all feel a little sluggish, the brain fog is severe and the pants are a little tight.  In the start of a new year, everyone is gung-ho for change, accepting and inviting of a transformation. Since your eyes are open and you are willing to do a little work, I say we push for a little more together.  Everyone I talk to is ready to get back on the health train, assuming they need extreme cleanses and diets to get back on track. Changing our habits and following through for a few weeks will get us right back in the game, we just have to stay CONSISTENT. I'm here to show you that being fit and healthy doesn't have to be boring, restrictive and unsustainable. Easiest Oatmeal Recipe Ever

   Breakfast in our house is non negotiable. No matter how busy our morning is I always have something prepared and ready to go. I went through a overnight oats phase and probably made over night oats in every variation thought of. I love oatmeal in the morning because it's a complex carbohydrate meaning it keeps you feeling full for longer and it is so versatile you can put anything on top. If you keep the toppings sugar free you got yourself a really good start to the day. As much as I love my over night rolled oats my son was getting bored of cold oatmeal and re-heating it was an extra step that took the simplicity out of it.
